Our Mission

To advance management research, education, and practice in Serbia by fostering collaboration, leadership, and global engagement among individuals committed to excellence in management.
  • Pillar 1: Research & Teaching

SRB-AOM strengthens the foundations of management scholarship in Serbia through mentorship programs for early-career scholars, workshops on research design and academic writing, joint research initiatives, and a growing repository of Serbian business cases for use in the classroom.
    This Includes:
    • Organizing annual workshops
    • Establishing mentorship and peer-learning programs
    • Supporting joint research projects addressing global and regional management issues
    • Promoting doctoral collaboration
    • Organizing cross-faculty seminars among EKOF, FON, and other HEIs
    • Global network building
  • Pillar 2: Strengthening Collaboration

SRB-AOM serves as a bridge between Serbia's academic institutions, professional associations, and the broader business community — fostering partnerships that elevate management education, support international accreditation, and connect scholarship to real organizational challenges.
    This Includes:
    • Supporting schools seeking international accreditation
    • Partnering with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce
    • Working with industry leaders to provide executive education
    • Promoting corporate-academic partnerships through sponsored projects
    • Encouraging participation in regional management competitions
  • Pillar 3: Connecting SRB to AOM

As an AoM-affiliated organization, SAoM creates direct pathways for Serbian scholars to engage with the world's leading management community — through international conferences, AoM-endorsed events in Belgrade, and cross-border collaborations across the Western Balkans.
    This Includes:
    • Establishing an official AoM-recognized chapter in SRB
    • Encouraging participation in AoM divisions and groups
    • Hosting AoM sponsored events across cities in Serbia
    • Organizing regional symposia and panels at international conferences
    • Fostering cross-border collaborations with neighboring countries
